Lovingly handmade for Chinese New Year, our Kueh Lapis is crafted one golden layer at a time — a slow, meticulous process that takes over 4 hours per cake. Each layer is baked individually to achieve its signature softness and buttery depth, embodying the festive spirit and the tradition of patience and prosperity. Inspired by the idiom “步步高升” — which means “rising step by step” — every layer is a wish for growth, success, and good fortune in the year ahead. Available during CNY period only.
